Scott and Linda Miller

Hi. My name is Angela and I am fundraising for Scott and Linda Miller. Basically, I am doing this fundraiser because I don't know what else to do to help. Some friends of mine were asking what they could do to support them in a "tangible way." Good question. Important question. I said I would talk to linda to find out. When Linda called me back, literally, she asked for continued prayer (of course she could count on me for that) and for a walker for Scott (her husband) which I happened to be able to give to her today. Okay.

Tangibly, the needs are so great, I suppose, I don't know where to start other than "put it out there."

To my friends and family, and to their friends and family and our brothers and sisters in Christ I am putting it "out there" and placing these precious people before you and asking for help and support for them in prayer and financially.

In August of 2023 a storm devastated their house. They have been displaced and staying in a nearby motel. In the meantime, they have been so positive and hopeful and patient. Going to work at the house as much as they can to try to recover one of a kind-incredible works of art. Both of them are incredibly gifted artists and the work is being exposed to the elements. Construction and repair of the house was estimated to take 6 months. 6 months have come and gone and the work has not even started.

A week ago Scott went to the hospital because he was weak and unstable in his legs. Although more testing is needed it is confirmed that the cause of the instability is a brain tumor. To provide for themselves they work very hard. Scott and Linda have a cleaning job (which is physically difficult to begin with) and Linda cares for an elderly man each morning. Under the current circumstances, going to work is not possible.

So, Dear Friends and Dear Family, please join me in praying:

Lord Jesus, We pray that you will work all these (crazy) things together (in your way and in your time) for Scott and Lindas good. They love you and have been called according to your purposes. Provide for their every need. Comfort and keep and make Your face shine on them. Bring beauty from ashes I pray (and from the ruble of the collapsed house). Thank you for Scott and Linda, for their life and faith and the way they shine your beauty and love and grace... May Your will be done. In Jesus Name I pray. Amen
