Scooter Recruiter

This week week I met a Ukrainian mother, Oksana who recently arrived here with her two daughters, Grace and Gloria. My husband Paddy and I wanted to directly help Oksana and her children in a practical way and decided to purchase scooters for them. Our own daily family life in Dublin City couldn’t function without scooters (even our 16 month old scoots).

These scooters have already had a massive impact on Oksana and her daughters lives, from making the commute to and from school easier, helping them integrate into their new communities and simply adding a bit of fun and normality to their current chaotic lives.

Paddy and I now have a goal to get scooters for all Ukrainian children arriving in Ireland.

We need your help. We want to fundraise to enable us to both refurbish old scooters and purchase new scooters and helmets.

We have also reached out to scooter manufacturers and suppliers to partner with and hopefully help with donations of both discounted new scooters and refurbished ones also.
