Hello my name is Jennifer Freeby and I have known the Schwenk Family for a number of years through having children that are close friends and of the same age.

I am creating this gofundme account in order to ask the fb community to come together to raise some funds to help support the Schwenk Family during this sudden and unexpected difficult time involving Allan's complex life threatening health issues which are not fully understood by the doctors involved with his case.

Allan's health issues continue to advance and become more complicated. He has been hospitalized since mid-August and what they are experiencing is nothing short of a fight for his life at this time.

Currently Jodi spends her time being Allan's spokesperson and advocate while also quite unexpectedly caring for a foster child and still managing the supervision and transport of the children she is employed to care for at various times throughout the day as well as keeping up with a household involving the care of their home and family pets. Jodi navigates all of this along with various levels of support from their grown children who are managing their own lives while also making trips home as they are able to in order to try to help in whatever ways they are able to. She spends much time with Allan at the hospital and is working diligently at this time to try to get Allan transferred to a larger and more state-of-the-art facility which might offer more options, therapies, treatments, innovative ideas and support for the complex and advanced level of his illness.

Allan and Jodi have raised their three grown children in this community and have always been a kind presence as well as generous with their time and talents in the school system and in the greater community especially through the Girl and Boy Scout Programs in various ways throughout the years.

Monies raised will go toward emergency funds needed for any medical expenses which are above and beyond what is covered by insurance/ afforded by the family as well as anything unexpected at home which needs attending to at this time.
