Our school is going on a community service week to help underprivileged children in a school in the north of Kenya. Most of these children rely on their school to feed them and tend to their needs. Last year we built a classroom and over 150 desks as well as set up a mobile clinic and donated essentials like Unga(flour a staple in Kenyan cuisine) , Books, sanitary items and helped improve the diet of the children. This year we are hoping to build 2 new classrooms, 300+ desks and help set up a better food program, We are also donating clothing items, books, paint and other hardware items. We are trying to set up a bee hive and teach the kids and adults how to care for it as well as planting fruit trees for long term solutions.
