2020 has been a year filled with twists and turns for so many of us. Covid-19 has brought on the distancing from friends and loved ones, changes in the way we go about living our daily lives including how we learn and go to work.
With so many changes happening in such a short period of time, many families have been faced with financial hardships. Families, within our own community, are becoming increasingly worried as Thanksgiving draws closer each day. The joy of the holiday is quickly being marred by financial constraints.
But together as a community, we are able to rally behind our friends, classmates, neighbors, coworkers, and community members so that no family goes without a Thanksgiving meal this holiday season.
A donation of any amount means a family in your community will have a Thanksgiving dinner this season. A donation will mean that a family will have a holiday to celebrate despite the chaos we have experienced this year. A donation will give a family in need so much to be thankful for. Anything helps and all is appreciated greatly.
Our goal this season is to raise $3,000 so that families in the Sunset Canyon Community can receive a $75 grocery gift card to purchase a Thanksgiving dinner for their family.
