Hi, our names are Scott and Kayla Ng. As we come up on our 4th wedding anniversary we find ourselves in the position of reaching out for help from our beloved family and friends. It is hard to ask for help, but here we are.

We have been unsuccessfully been trying to start a family for three and a half years. We have had to move and start over in the midst of treatment multiple times. 

This journey has been an emotional one, but we are finally ready to take the next step of IVF. It is an overwhelmingly expensive treatment that starts at $18,500 which doesn't include medication which is upwards of $7,500 dollars. This is assuming that the very first round of treatment is successful.

Kayla has been diagnosed with low egg count and a chromosome mutation called ALD. Adrenoleukodystrophy (ALD) is a genetic condition that damages the membrane (myelin sheath) that covers nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord. Without costly genetic testing it will affect 50% of our offspring. If they are a boy they have a significant chance of at best, having Addison's disease, and at worst, severe disability or death in childhood.
