ScapegoatHill community fund
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Claire, and along with my friend Sara, we originally set up a GoFundMe page to raise money for a new defibrillator in our home village of Scapegoat Hill.
The response was incredible—we were truly amazed by the generosity and support we received. Thanks to your kindness, we were able to fund the defibrillator, and we’re now well on our way to hopefully installing a second one, along with a warm box, in the nearby village of Nettleton Hill.
This experience inspired us to think more about the strength of our community spirit, and how we could build on it to make our village an even nicer and safer place to live.
So, we’ve launched this new GoFundMe to raise funds not only for the second defib, but also for other community projects. These include:
• Planters, tools, and flowers to brighten the area
• Bulbs and wildflower seeds to support bees and butterflies
• A community garden
• Wildlife habitats, hedge and tree planting to attract birds and insects
• Litter-picking kits
• A Christmas tree for the village each year
• And other small projects to bring people together and make a real difference
Every donation—no matter how small—will go directly toward helping our village grow in kindness, beauty, and sustainability. Together, we can support our community and our environment at the same time.
Thank you so much for your continued support. Let’s keep this amazing spirit going!
Thank you
