This week my mom was horribly scammed over the phone using a horrific car accident and pregnant woman who lost her baby as scare tactics. They must have used AI to sound exactly like me as a part of the situation, and had my mom convinced I was in distress!! It worked!! Believing she was doing the right thing, She gave EVERYTHING she had in the bank to these scammers. Even the police said it was one of the most elaborate schemes they had ever heard! We are mostly thankful no was physically hurt or injured, but leaves my mom at a major loss.
