Scaling Peaks for our Neighbours at Halton Haven

At Field and Lawn, we believe in looking after our own. Our depot is just a stone’s throw away from Halton Haven Hospice, a place that has been a pillar of the Halton community since 1981. They provide a "warm, safe bubble" for people living with terminal conditions, focusing on dignity, comfort, and peace.

Why are we climbing

Many people are surprised to learn that Halton Haven is a charity and not part of the NHS. It costs £2.4 million a year to keep their doors open, that is £6,370.00 every single day. While they receive some funding, they rely on people like us to raise £1.25 million annually through donations and fundraising.

To help them meet those relentless costs, our team is taking on the Three Peaks Challenge on Thursday, 9th, and Friday, 10th April. We’ll be pushing our limits across Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike, and Snowdon to ensure that the Hospice can continue to provide its incredible "home from home" care to our neighbours.

Every penny we raise goes directly to the Hospice to help maintain their beautiful grounds, their In-Patient Unit, and their specialist palliative care services.
