Help Support Leneesha "Nee Nee" Columbus' Children

Hello, my name is Markisha but everyone calls me Puddin. On July 5th my sister, Leneesha “Nee Nee” Columbus’ life was wrongfully and tragically taken from us by the father of her child. She was rushed to the hospital where they performed an emergency c-section on her. She was only 5 months pregnant. The baby survived and is in critical condition.
My sister leaves behind three children. Leneesha was a loving mother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. She brought light and love wherever she went. She was the heart of the neighborhood. She was our sister and she meant the world to us.
As her daughter fights for her life in the NICU, my family and I have stepped in to raise and support all of her children by any means. I will make sure her children receive EVERY dime in helping build their future (schooling, extracurricular activities, etc.). We are looking into setting up educational accounts and/or investment accounts for the children so their futures are secured. Please help support her 3 children through this horrible time.

Domestic violence facts:
More than 40% of Black women will experience domestic violence in their lifetime.
More disturbingly, Black women are 2.5 times more likely to be murdered by men than white women.
In the overwhelming majority of these cases — 92% — the person who killed them knew their victim. 56% of these homicides were committed by a current or former intimate partner. Nearly all —92% — of these killings were intra-racial, which means that they were committed by a Black man against a Black woman.
