Hi, I’m Heather, & I’m here to reach out for help in regards to my friend Baylee & her family. Little Sawyer was diagnosed with discitis vertebral osteomyelitis. He’s had to undergo MRI’s, consistent testing, twice weekly follow ups, IV/oral antibiotics, & so much more. After multiple appointments/tests with no answers, they were finally admitted to Children’s, with some hope of what was wrong. Sawyer was told this process could take at least up to a year to finally start getting better. It’s affecting so many things, & his pain is consistently awful. This is a completely new thing to most doctors, so the commute back and forth to children’s, & dealing with infectious disease is a lot. I ask that you keep Sawyer & his family in your thoughts. He’s such a strong & courageous boy, & we know he can battle this, but ask for healing & progression. Thank you ❤️
