Saving Viggo, Miracle baby McCoy

Hi Friends & Family of Hilda, Michael, Millie and Baby Viggo. On behalf on my best friend Hilda, I created this fundraiser. Hilda was told at 21 weeks pregnant that her son was not going to survive and that she needed to terminate her pregnancy. They informed her that her membranes had ruptured and she was at risk of infection. Hilda carefully stayed pregnant for 3 more weeks, putting herself on bed rest at home. At 24 weeks pregnant, she was admitted to the hospital and was able to keep her son safely inside of her for 4 more weeks. At 28 weeks, 1 day pregnant, she was told she needed to deliver immediately!!! Her placenta was detaching, causing bleeding and contractions. Hilda delivered Viggo, expecting to have him pass away almost immediately.. but he didn’t. To everyone surprise (shock, actually), baby Viggo let out the tiniest cry and then was able to be intubated and have his lungs inflated. He has now been fighting in the NICU for 4 days, doing extraordinary & fighting against every odd. Michael & Hilda need all of the extra love and support we can offer. This money raised for them will help with endless items to ease their time in the hospital with Viggo.
