Please help save my Grandparents Legacy

Dear Friends and Kind Hearted Strangers,

It’s not something that I ever do, but I’m asking for your help to save my grandparents grave site.

My Opa & Oma are buried together in the Forest Cemetery near Nuremberg, Germany. Both my parents are deceased as is my only brother. I grew up with my Opa & Oma when I was a child. I learned many things from them including to honor, respect and love family & friends.

Grave sites are leased in Germany and not owned; the lease for their grave site is expiring and if not renewed, their resting place and legacy will be lost forever. Although they died peacefully some years back, I always thought their final resting place was secure for the rest of my life and beyond. But it is now sadly in jeopardy.

The rest of the family has died or moved away with no interest in saving the grave site. All of the financial burden rests on my shoulders. Unfortunately, the cost to extend the lease is beyond what I can afford on my own and therefore I ask for your kind help.
