His family’s home was partially destroyed by relentless airstrikes, and with it, the life they once knew was shattered.

Mahmoud now stands among the ruins — not just of a house, but of memories, safety, and dreams.

His family has been displaced, their lives upended by war. He is also suffering from severe electrocution injuries, and there is no medical treatment available in Gaza.

Hospitals are overwhelmed. Electricity, once a lifeline, has become a source of danger. Resources are depleted, and his health is deteriorating rapidly. Without urgent treatment abroad, Mahmoud’s life is at serious risk.

Alongside his family, Mahmoud dreams of reaching a place of peace, healing, and hope — a future free from fear. But leaving Gaza — and surviving — requires far more than courage.
