I'm Haneen, a Survivor In Gaza. But, will I survive at the end of this catastrophe?

I’m asking you, with all my heart, to help my family evacuate from the genocide and starvation that my country going through. It has become impossible to stay here, and we urgently need your assistance to cross to safety through the Egyptian-Palestinian border.

Running out from death has a price of $5000 as travel coordination for each person. Can you imagine how life can be priceless and expensive at once!

For all of this, I think $35,000 would be sufficient financial relief to the seven of my family members, and cover the basic travelling arrangement required to move out safely.

The situation with my family

As compassionate individuals who stay informed about global events, you are likely aware of the dire situation faced by every Gazan over the past months. While the following description should ideally be unnecessary, I feel compelled to underscore how urgently these funds are required for the basic survival of my family.

Since October 7th, my family has experienced two evacuations. Our home neighbourhood of AlNseer has been partily destroyed,

At first, we evacuated to our relatives' house in the south and stayed there for about two months. However, the challenges started again when Israel claimed the South as a safe zone but later distributed leaflets, prompting us to evacuate again.

The family currently resides in a tent on a street in Rafah, lacking access to sanitation, medical supplies, food, water, connectivity, and warmth.

The recent devastating events since October 7th have not only forced my family to evacuate their warm and lovely home but have also shattered their dreams and aspirations.

Eman, my sister, was about to start a new chapter in her life after completing her volunteer work as a nutritionist at Al-Shifa Hospital.

Hamza secured a promising job opportunity at a prestigious company, offering hope for a stable future.

My younger sister, Reham, was diligently preparing for her Secondary School exams, aspiring to study Interior Design.

Rawan, my other sister, exerted considerable effort during her undergraduate studies at university of palestine, which is now completely abandoned, to graduate and pursue her dream of becoming a brilliant UX/UI designer.

As for me, I was about to be a teaching assistant at my beloved Faculty of Business Administration, which now exists only in memory.

All these dreams, aspirations and the potential for a better life have been mercilessly crushed

A Glimmer of Hope:

There's a silver lining amidst this turmoil: the family owns a house in Egypt where they can find refuge and start anew. However, the journey from Gaza to Egypt is fraught with obstacles, including the need for safe passage and the financial means to travel and settle in a new country.
