Indonesia is low resource country identified by the United Nations 2023 Database to have a neonatal and/or maternal mortality larger than the SDG targets.

Severe bleeding (Postpartum Hemorrhage-PPH

•Lack of training/skills to stop bleeding

•Lack of supplies/equipment

•Unable to stabilize for transport to advanced care

Providing Solutions

PTPDE's Executive Director, Aisha Al Hajjar, is a licensed midwife and Master Trainer of evidence-based "Helping Mothers Survive" and "Helping Babies Breathe" programs. We are asking for donations to support providing lifesaving supplies for community birth workers in Indonesia. These are sustainable, reusable tools that are proven to save lives in low resource countries.
