Saving Little Dean

Hi, Im mary and this is my story. september 13 2021 my son and his girlfriend had a baby boy who they name Dean . unfurtunatly both my son and his girlfriend were both on drugs .child protective service was brought in. cps asked me and my husband if would take temparary custudy of Dean or they would have to put Dean in foster care .at this time me and my husband are 58 years old but we wernt going to let our grandson go into foster care .so we went and got him out of the hospital when he was five days old.we do still work so we took turns getting up at night with Dean . we would go to work and i would drive and my husband would take a 10 minute nap an thin i would take a nap . i didnt realize how how much a 10 minutes of sleep can do for you . at nine months Dean got RSV and we stayed in ICU for five days . He is a strong little boy and came through it like a champ . a year ago we found out that Deans maternal grandparents wanted to be part of Deans life . i thought it was wonderful they wanted to be in his life . we found out then they were raising 2 of his siblings. They started having visits with them .everything has been going alright . until the holidays came and she wanted Dean for everyone of them . i told her we could share because he has a family on this side that wants to be with him to . Our nightmare began on Dec 1 2023 . the maternal grandparents were to Dean up at daycare on dec 1 and bring him back on dec 5 . at the day care instead of getting a text from them telling me thry dropped him off , i get a text from there lawyer saying in the interst of Dean and Deans siblings they were filing a custady suit and would not be bringing Dean back. they have no papers on Dean at all at all letting them do this . they basiclly kidnapped him . i called my CPS worker who gave Dean to us and she told me to get my papers that we signed with her for us having custady of Dean and go to there house with officer and go get Dean and not to let him go back again. unfurtanatly its a fine line between kidnapping and family court and the officer said he would not be able to help us we had to hired attorney. we work week to week and dont have alot of money to be hiring an attorney . the ratiner was 6000 dollers we had half of that and a friend helped us out with the other . our lawyer filed a emergency order with the judge for the maaternal grandparents to return Dean. they didnt so he filed a writ of attachment which gave the constables permission to physically take Dean out of the house. by the time we got out there they had left with Dean. at this point i didnt know if we would ever see our little Dean again.i kept praying and on Dec 19 we got our christmas miracle. they gave Dean back . we have a great lawyer but with all he has done so far itstook a lot out of his retainer. we know thats why they took Dean in the first place is because they didnt think we would be able to hire an attorney and wouldnt be able to come get him . they have money to do anything they want to us we are standing good in the courts after they trying to kidnap Dean but weare still having to go to court with this. we are asking for any kind of donation to help us save our grandson. he is a blessing in our lives please help us keep him.
