Save Willow Grove & St George’s Terrace

Hi The North Parramatta Residents Action Group (www.nprag.org) are very passionate residents in Parramatta trying to save heritage listed Willow Grove Villa and St George’s Terrace from demolition by the State Government. These two historic gems have graced the streets of Parramatta for 160 years and the community want that to continue. Not only are they wonderful examples of architecture but have a very special connection socially. Willow Grove as one of Parramatta’s first maternity hospitals providing a lying in facility to new mothers from 1919 till the mid 1950s. We are all volunteers giving our time and passion to save Australia’s dwindling heritage. With Covid 19 restrictions narrowing our avenues to elevate the visibility of our community efforts we are trying hard to keep our campaign to save Willow Grove and St George’s Terrace in the news. We can’t ask you to attend a march or rally but instead ask if you can donate to our campaign to raise awareness by purchasing outdoor banners, printing flyers etc. Thank you for helping to save Australia’s heritage from demolition. ******UPDATE******** WE HAVE BLOWN AWAY WITH ALL THE ATTENTION AND GENEROUS DONATIONS. We have actually exhausted our 100 custom masks we had as a promotion to give away. We will be able to send everyone that’s made a donation already as of 27th July a Save WilllowGrove mask.
