Save Maricopa Hwy

Join your Ojai Valley neighbors at Save Maricopa Hwy    to stop the Ojai "road diet". 

Those of us at SMH want safer bike, pedestrian and car travel along Maricopa Hwy in a smarter plan than Ojai's current "road diet".

Don't permanently block two lanes of traffic with trees, curbs and parked cars. 

Create safe bike lanes with paint and reflective post barriers.

Make crossing Maricopa Hwy safer with pedestrian activated red lights, not the flashing yellow lights that drivers ignore.

Don't make getting into the hospital, Nordhoff High School or the Vons shopping center more dangerous and confusing.

Don't force more traffic through Meiners Oaks, the Arbolada or the neighborhood behind Vons.

A small group of people are pushing the Maricopa Hwy "road diet".

Help us spread the word to everyone else in the Ojai Valley. We need funds for mailers and banners.
