We at Yeobo are in need of financial assistance in catching up on a large amount of unexpected expenses if we are going to keep our doors open.
We bought the assests of our current restaurant space back in October 2024 and since then have been hit with more financial set backs than we're able to handle on our own. It started with an unexpected plumbing project where the city required us to change out our dish sink and grease interceptor, which ran us over $12k (which we had to get financed and are still paying off.) The HVAC we inherited with the space died right before we opened our doors back in January; and needing to get that fixed took us 17k. We're anticipating another plumbing project needing to be down in January that will cost us around 20k, not even including the loss of revenue we'll face due to needing to close for at least a week. So while our day-to-day finances are doing well enough, we've had several huge set backs that have prevented us from expanding and operating at our full capacity because we are constantly trying to catch up. We've made it this far, thanks to yalls support, but August and September brought us even more setbacks including two of our fridges breaking and 2 power outages that resulted in a loss of inventory and cash flow.
We are so proud to be a part of this community and so proud to serve you, and we know we can't make it through this without you. We knew this would be an uphill battle, especially with this having been such a remarkably tough year for the food and bev industry as a whole, but we've made it this far because of you and because you keep showing up and supporting and I'll never be able to express how grateful I am to you all. Thank you. We'll get through this together.
