Save Xanadu: Fund Repairs for Community Center

Xanadu is a community center physically located at 5015 W Bond St. Boise, ID 83706. The center offers creative and rehearsal spaces, education, speaking and lecturing spaces, and two shops outfitted with tools, including welding and woodworking implements. Further, it now has a bio dome and gardens. The center adapts and changes to the needs of the community it serves.

One of their most sought after rooms is the dance studio. It is used for dance, yoga, taichi, rehearsals, and more. The floors however, are in need of repair in order to continue to be used. Due to this, Xanadu has lost a significant amount of income and therefore is at risk of shutting its doors.

The goal is to raise the funds for the floors to be updated as well as other repairs to make the space more sought after. This will allow Xanadu to rent the spaces to keep the building open, so then can go back to being able to help the community with donated classes and workshops.
