All fence materials have been donated by American Fence Company! We now need to fund mulch, fill dirt, a canopy and playground equipment! Thank you so much for your donations!

Woodland Nature Montessori School, a tenant of the struggling non-profit Calusa Nature Center is in danger of being shut down after 4 years in business after an insurance audit resulted in the requirement of a fenced playground.
The children at the school have always leveraged the nature trails and areas surrounding the school as expanded imaginative play. However, if these requirements are not met within 30 days, the school will be forced to shut down as a result of lapsing coverage.
The materials for the fence alone are expected to be a few thousand dollars.
Because of the school's decreased attendance and the already struggling Nature Center as a result of Covid shutdowns, they are struggling to come up with the money required in order to do this.
This small school and Calusa Nature Center do so much for the community, please consider donating whatever you can to help them and the families that attend the school continue to offer a nature-led curriculum in Montessori Education.
