Hello everyone, my name is Islam, and I am a resident of Rafah, Gaza. I was born and raised there. It is with a heavy heart I’m making this post asking for help. I’m desperately in need of leaving home and everything that I love to find refuge for my small family. This decision was not easily made, as I had to leave the rest of my family behind and start over.

My husband, baby boy, and I have been facing extreme difficulties due to a lack of resources and support since the war on Gaza started on October 7th; we find ourselves in an unfortunate situation where we have lost everything due to no fault of our own and been deprived of our basic needs. We desperately require aid to get us safely across the border at the Rafah checkpoint so that we can escape from these life-threatening circumstances.
