Hi my names Georgie. Uplift is a community cafe. It means the world to us. It’s been a tough journey. Chapter one started 7 years ago. A year before Covid. Which was devastating for all small businesses but with the help of bruntwood we carried on in the centre of stretford mall. Unfortunately the mall is now being demolished which means we have to start all over again. Our business is about to close and restart at a new venue. We need to pay a months utilities up front. Will have to close for a week or so meaning we won’t have any money coming in to pay the bills. We need to advertise buy some new equipment

service equipment we already have. There are lots of financial hurdles.

we really want uplift to continue. We value our uplift family so much. We have lots of ideas going forward.

and hopefully we can make it work.

we want a safe happy area for all of stretford.
