Hi everyone,

I'm setting up this fundraiser for two of the most selfless, hardworking people I know: my parents.

Over the last few months, our family has been going through an extraordinarily tough financial and emotional season. On August 1st, somebody extremely close to us in Nigeria started fighting some battles. My dad had already been pouring everything he had into building a new house for them so they would have a safe, permanent place to live.

The house was supposed to be ready before there issues started. Unfortunately, due to constant delays and difficulties with the builders back in Nigeria, the project keeps getting pushed back. Now, on top of building costs, my dad is having to pay extra emergency accommodation fees to keep them safe while also paying extra to try to speed up a construction process.

Seeing the pressure on our family, my mum stepped up without hesitation. 

Through all of this, my parents have put every single ounce of energy into taking care of others and making sure my sister and l are cared for. They never complain, but I can see how exhausted they are.

My parents would never ask for help themselves, which is why I'm asking for them.
