Save Ukrainian Culture

Russia is destroying Ukrainian Culture. The russians have already destroyed 300 architectural sites, but they cannot demolish Ukrainian Culture!

 

Our Charity Foundation 'SaveArtUA,' in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine, the Ukrainian Cultural Fund, and the National Union of Architects of Ukraine, collects information about destroyed cultural sites in Ukraine and publishes them on an interactive map. Meanwhile, we raise money for the preservation of these sites. Our Foundation has four main goals during this time of war:

 

1. Expeditions to deoccupied regions for documenting the destruction of our Ukrainian cultural heritage

 

2. Helping museum staff and moving museum collections from hotspots to safe places

 

3. Creation of 3D models of destroyed sites

 

4. Providing financial and methodological help for communities to conduct emergency repairs and strengthen infrastructure

As time wears on, places are being destroyed, and people are being dislocated throughout Ukraine. This project, organized by Ukrainian university students, seeks to preserve Ukrainian culture and tradition while we still can!
