For more than 120 years, the Woman's Club of Hollywood-, a 501c3 charitable organization, has been a place where women come together to learn, create, lead, and lift one another up. From helping establish Hollywood's first public library to supporting education, the arts, and community service, the Club has quietly helped shape the heart of Hollywood.

Today, that legacy is at a critical turning point.

Without immediate action, the Woman's Club faces the very real possibility of losing its historic home to foreclosure.

This crisis did not begin because the Club lost sight of its mission. It began when a group of elderly women—volunteers who had devoted their lives to serving their community—were taken advantage of during a fraudulent takeover that has been the subject of years of legal proceedings. In its aftermath, the Club was left responsible for a $700,000 loan that it maintains should never have been placed upon the organization.

For women whose lives had been dedicated to giving back, the years that followed were spent not expanding programs or serving the community, but fighting to protect the very institution they loved. Legal costs mounted. Then came the COVID-19 pandemic, bringing programming and revenue to a halt while the financial burden continued to grow.

Today, the Woman's Club is fighting for more than a building. It is fighting to preserve over 120 years of service, sisterhood, and opportunity for future generations.

We believe this story deserves a different ending.
