Marion does not know I am starting this as of yet. She has been serving the community for many years, always giving back and working relentlessly. She moved to Wilmot Creek, a small community 2 years ago and continued her passion of helping others by catering to the elderly and providing them with home-cooked, nutritious meals weekly.

She has unfortunately been faced with bullying from a few members of her community in the past few months regarding her business. They have been harassing her daily, stalking her home and making her feel uneasy in her own space with threats. They have made it their mission to shut her down. They have won, she is going to be shutting down her health and mental well-being, cannot continue with this daily harassment.

Wilmot Creek Residents started a petition to save the bakery and with over 661 signatures this is not a want but a NEED in this community. It is an essential service. Many are ill, without spouses, unable to get out and this is essential for those who cannot cook for themselves.

I am starting this to help her start outside of the creek to get a business storefront so that they have zero grounds or place to bully her or continue on in their way.

We cannot let them win. Marion is an INCREDIBLE chef, and the community benefits from her business greatly.

There is a small space that would be perfect for her. I believe it is $95,000 to purchase this business location; unfortunately and she would in addition have the ongoing monthly rent from this leased space. She would face a much larger overhead that she can't handle as a single working lady.
