Save the Potatoe Patch

Since 1988 Potatoe Patch has been a family friendly go-to for great southern meals, chicken fired fare, and fantastic steaks. The Throw'd rolls are legendary as are the family pass arounds of Fried Green Tomatoes and Fried Okra.

Now due to Covid-19, slow business, back taxes and other hurdles Richard Andrews and family are in danger of shutting down. Richard took over the Potatoe Patch a few months before Covid-19 hit and was shut down for 3 months. Ice permitted to, he then tried his best with curbside and 25% occupancy. Richard's Grandmother has early stage dementia and he is trying to stay open for her and his 48 employees plus their families. Struggling with the upcoming property taxes, payroll and breakdowns of key kitchen equipment, the Potatoe Patch and Richard needs our community help, they have alway been there for us and now it's our turn.

We all have great memories growing up of having family meals at the Potatoe Patch and catching those wonderful Throw'd rolls and muffins. Many of us came to eat with our families and friends, and then years later brought our kids to experience this place, which feels like home to so many. The place is comforting and when you eat there, it's like getting a warm hug from your food. Richard has done an amazing job bringing it back to his grandfather's standards, but it isn't enough. We are asking to donate what you can and help share this to Save The Potatoe Patch.
