Hello, I am Olivia Ouchi and I love my school, California Middle.  At California Middle School there are currently hot water fountains and a vending machine that dispenses cold plastic water bottles.  Plastic is known to be harmful to not only the planet but ourselves.  Plastic contains chemical compounds that disturb this wonderful planet and our also wonderful bodies we have been given.   With the funds, I am asking to install a plastic saving Elkay Drinking Water Fountain and Bottle Filler for the campus.  The support will make me and the students/faculty take saving the planet one step at a time.  I am very passionate about the amount of plastic we have been wasting and to save Earth from being polluted and covered with plastic.  We could promote not only less plastic usage at our school but to help encourage staying hydrated and practicing healthy habits.  I would love to have the funds for the Drinking Fountain before the next school year to start the year healthy and hydrated.
