The Half Moon is more than just a pub – it’s part of Darlington’s history. As the oldest pub in town, it has welcomed generations of locals, visitors, and families through its doors. Now, we have a chance to save it and preserve its heritage for the future.
We’re thrilled to share that TVCAPT (Tees Valley Community Asset Preservation Trust) will be taking on the management of The Half Moon, ensuring it continues to serve the community for years to come.
We’ve already secured £90,000 from a social lender, but we need your help to raise the final £15,000 to complete the project. Every penny will go directly towards protecting and restoring this much-loved landmark.
By donating, you’ll be helping to:
• Safeguard Darlington’s oldest pub for future generations
• Create a welcoming community space in the heart of town
• Support local heritage and history
Please donate if you can, and share this campaign with friends and family. Together, we can raise the last £15,000 needed to keep The Half Moon shining brightly in Darlington’s story.
Let’s save The Half Moon – pint by pint, story by story.
