Save the North Shore Birth Center

On December 1, Beth Israel Lahey Health and Beverly Hospital officially closed the North Shore Birth Center, eliminating access to midwifery-led care and an out-of-hospital birth choice for the region.

Our community's fight to save NSBC is not over – in many ways it is just beginning.

We are committed to establishing a midwife-led, free-standing birth center on the North Shore that will provide the patient-centered, equitable and high-quality maternal and women's health care that every community deserves.

To date, our campaign has been fueled by volunteers. Your contribution today will help cover the legal and other administrative costs associated with formalizing our organization, demanding accountability of Beth Israel Lahey Health, and paving the path toward a fully functional birth center for North Shore families.
