Save the Muirhouse Millennium Centre!

The Muirhouse Millennium Centre has been the hub of the Muirhouse community for over 20 years.

Over the past 15 years Peter Airlie has run the centre providing fun for the kids and a safe space for adults.

Slowly but surely funding for the centre has been cut until they got absolutely NONE!!

Funds have to be found by hiring rooms and due the pandemic that was not possible so there’s been no income for 3 years. That’s why the partnership with LIFT was so beneficial, but we cant ignore the fact that this building has no real funding, its cost just over £40,000 a year to open so we need to find £80,000 to stay open over the next two years and take on the fight to secure funding and get the council on board to help.

This go fund me page is to keep your centre open, all funds made will go direct to keeping the doors open, lights on and the centre running, or the centre will close! We can’t run a centre on NO funding.
