Save the Masonic Home of Des Moines! Support the Appeal!

Let's protect Des Moines' greatest work of architecture! The Final EIS is out for the Masonic Home/Landmark on the Sound and a demolition permit was issued by the City of Des Moines on August 8th, 2025. We have already raised $8000 outside of Go Fund Me. We retained the attorney services of Bricklin and Newman and appealed the Final EIS and Demolition Permit (see links below). We would like to keep raising funds up to $50,000 to strengthen our case and hire experts who can testify on key issues to support our case.

Any amount helps and goes a long way toward helping us protect Des Moines finest work of architecture and cornerstone of our City's world class cultural heritage.
