Offsetting the costs for maintenance, repairs as well as for the operation of the theatre.

Mike Schwartz, the proprietor of the theatre has tried to keep the theatre running because he believes in the theatre and that it provides a valuable resource for the community.

Covid changed people's habits and the dynamics around operating most entertainment locations, the Historic State Theatre is no exception, and Mike has been using the vast majority of the money he makes as a Realtor® to keep the theatre running, but it's not enough. The theatre has lost +/- $30,000 per year.

Hopefully there are people out there who still believe in things like building community and helping people who need a hand
