HERTHA is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) corporation that has been managing the Town Hall since 2011. We are currently seeking to save the Town Hall from potential demolition and development and to preserve it for public use by purchasing the building, which the Township has listed for sale. The people of Elk Rapids have spoken loudly about the value this community asset holds for them - it is truly a point of pride that we cannot afford to lose.
