Hello Gambians, My name is Dr. Sheriffo Ceesay and I am part of the founders of the N3T movement and recently launched movement. N3T is a grassroot and civil movement, the sole purpose of which is to fight agains self perpetuation which leads to massive corruption and no accountability.
History is watching us. For over half a century, the Gambia was defined by stagnatio; 30 years under one leader, 22 years under the next. We were promised "Never Again," yet we find ourselves on the brink of the same old mistake. We were promised a term limit but once they came to power they ignore that promise and treat us like lame ducks. This has to stop.
In December 2026, President Adama Barrow intends to seek a third term. While he clings to power, our institutions crumble. We have seen almost 10 years of:
- Systemic Corruption: Audit reports are ignored while public funds vanish into protected pockets.
- Institutional Failure: A rejected constitution and a total lack of security and civil service reform.
- Zero Accountability: Over 60 children lost their lives to contaminated medicine (AKI), and yet, the system remains silent and shielded.
- Eroding Sovereignty: A nation that still relies on foreign forces for basic security after a decade of "transition."
10 Years is Enough. The No To Third Term (N3T) movement is not a political party; we are the voice of a nation demanding a system change. We are working to unify the opposition and the citizenry to ensure that 2026 marks the end of "permanent" presidents.
