Update on Dumont Swim Club

Hello Dumont Swim Club Community,

We wanted to give you an update on the status of efforts to save the Dumont Swim Club (DSC).

The Save the Dumont Swim Club Committee worked tirelessly to raise funds to save the DSC. Funds were used in an attempt to fix the pool’s leak and evaluate other fixes required to make the pool operational.

Unfortunately, even after repairing the pool’s expansion joints, which were in very poor condition, the pool is still leaking water. Any further evaluation of the pool’s condition and the leak will need to wait until the Spring. Given this timeframe the DSC will not open in 2026. If there are any developments about 2027 you will be notified.

We want to thank those of you who donated via the Go Fund Me, on Dumont Day and at Stop & Shop.
