30 years ago we made the best climbing movie ever filmed in Squamish, and it needs a lot of work to be saved. It was written, produced, and directed by Paul Berntsen. The John Thomas Special Effects stunt team and expert Squamish climbers joined forces to create this very unique masterpiece. The movie highlights are tree falling, and an insane 100’ fall down the face of the Squamish Chief.

There are a number of technical issues with the only remaining copy that exists, and it requires 40 hours of work by a technical editing expert to restore. The soundtrack needs the most work, as you cannot quite hear what is going on. This is a difficult but repairable technical issue, however the end result will be a worthwhile addition to our Squamish climbing community.

This is an important part of our climbing heritage, please help us with the repair if you can.
