Save the cafe at Willsbridge Mill!

As many of your know, our company, Willsbridge Mill Community Refresh (WMCR) operate as a non-profit, community interest company, and with the help of our small cafe, we invest all the money we generate back into maintaining and restoring the surrounding woodland.

We do this for several reasons; 1. To offer a free, well-maintained venue for our local residents, 2. To create jobs for the valued staff that work here, and 3. Support the development of wildlife habitats.

The cost of living has become a real struggle for everyone in this country and as a non-profit business, it has hit us too.

Despite a fantastic year with many events including our first-ever music festival; Millfest, the popular duck race and Halloween and Christmas markets, we are now really feeling the pinch.

The soaring energy bills and increased costs have resulted in our business running at a loss, and this is a really worrying place to be, as we don't want to lose this free community venue, that so many of you enjoy or the staff that work so hard to keep it going.

We are seeking donations to help us survive the winter months when our trade is reduced due to the weather, and we can then still be here this summer, to give back once again.

Anything you can spare will be greatly appreciated and will go towards keeping us open.
