Help Save the BHS All Class Reunion Picnic!

The Berkeley High School All Class Reunion Committee is currently planning our 7th biennial picnic, scheduled for Saturday, August 23, 2025, and has moved to Berkeley High School (Campus Green). Unfortunately, because we were not awarded a Civic Arts Festival Grant this year, and due to the loss of other major funding sources, along with insufficient BHS Alumni donations, we were unable to meet our funding goals.

The Committee has carefully considered our options and changing the venue is most feasible. Although we will be operating in a more confined space, we will have adequate parking options, good accessibility, and limited costs, while maintaining a comfortable and safe environment for everyone.

Purpose

The BHS All Class Reunion Picnic is designed to rekindle memories of Berkeley pride and reunite alumni, families, and friends while enjoying good food, live music, local vendors, community agencies, and children’s activities. In addition to organizing the event itself, we also focus on community agency connections and resources, the collection of donations for unhoused BHS students and Berkeley transients, and an onsite health fair.

Why We Need Help

Due to inflation, the costs for hosting the event and obtaining the necessary permits have increased dramatically, and we need donations by July 31, 2025, to help cover the costs of the venue and equipment rental, insurance, security, maintenance, and other necessary expenses that make this event happen.

The success of this event depends solely on BHS alumni donations and volunteerism.
