My name is Hidaya Al Massri. I am a Palestinian from Gaza, and I’m raising funds to save my family — to get them out of Gaza before it’s too late.

I escaped the genocide in Gaza by paying $10,000 to Egyptian authorities. It was the only way. I fled death, destruction, and unimaginable suffering — but my family couldn’t afford to leave with me. They are still there, trapped in what’s left of our homeland, living in constant fear under relentless attacks.

Even in safety, I’m not free. I’m battling breast cancer and had to undergo surgery in the UK. But nothing compares to the pain of knowing my family — the people I love — are still living this horror every single day.

What’s happening in Gaza is not just war. It is systematic, targeted genocide. My people are being erased, and my family is barely surviving.

My sister is diabetic. Just last month, she fell into a coma. There’s no food, no insulin, no access to hospitals. My family fought through rubble to find her anything — anything — to keep her alive.

My niece has throat cancer. My sister has blood cancer. My brother’s daughter too. These are life-threatening illnesses, and there is no treatment. No medicine. No relief.

A bomb exploded near my sister’s grandchildren. Shrapnel ripped through their bodies. Their small, innocent bodies are now disfigured, their wounds infected. There are no hospitals left to take them to. No doctors. Just pain, day after day.

They are still living in the ruins of a destroyed house. No roof. No walls. No running water. No protection. Just fear, dust, and broken lives.

This is why I’m raising funds — to evacuate my family from Gaza, to get them medical treatment, safety, and dignity.
