Save Stockton Beach

To place into words the feelings that have swept over our town of Stockton in the last few years would be impossible. The beach erosion forcing the closure of our only day care centre & the depletion of the marine life is devastating our community. We are living day by day in hope that something will change. But enough is enough. The inaction from the State Government & the temporary solutions given by the local council is not an effective resolution. Every day we are reaching new heights with progressive ideas in artificial reefs/sand by-pass/groin & sand pumping. For as long as I can remember we have had the same meetings with council & each time the same outcome, the fingers are pointed in every direction but no one taking responsibility. It’s time we realised its up to us, as a united front in moving forward with a community class action & lodging a claim with the EDO Environment Defence Office that can aid our fight to save Stockton Beach.
