Silverbowl Radio Control Track/Park is on the verge of losing its driver stand!
18 years ago, my 9-year-old son and I discovered the Silverbowl RC track/park. We fell in love immediately with the facility, made new friendships, and created lifelong memories. We spent many years together participating in a hobby we both had a passion for! (What a great person my son has become!) To this day, my passion has never wavered; if anything, it has only grown stronger!
I feel honored to have managed the facility over the past 5 years and proud of the accomplishments we as a club have achieved in that time. We have turned what was an uncared-for dirt lot into a top-notch facility for thousands in our community to enjoy, all without any funding besides our local RC racing community! Seeing all the families, children, and parents enjoying the facility is very rewarding, especially because I know how spending time with our friends and family creates a positive impact on our lives and community!
It is imperative that an RC park has a driver stand for all participants to safely see and drive their vehicles from! Our current stand also has wheelchair access so everyone can participate, no matter their age or ability! Unfortunately, the stand is not up to current safety codes and will require more money than our club or I can afford! I know we can generate enough money to fix this issue, and we appreciate everyone for pitching in to support a very worthy cause! Thank you.
