The Shelby County Humane Society is facing an unprecedented situation and it needs your help. With 43 staff members caring for 150 animals every day, the shelter does not have enough money to cover its payroll next Thursday. $50,000 is needed to make payroll, and between donations made directly to the shelter and through GoFundMe, $44,725 has been raised so far, leaving $7,000 as the target number.

I have launched this fundraiser with the goal of raising $10,000 to help bridge the gap. Every dollar raised will go directly to ensuring the employees are paid so the animals can continue to receive the care they need.
