What If This Was You? - Please Help Shane's Family.

One of my lifelong friends is in desperate need.

My friend Shane has been bravely battling Marfan Syndrome, a debilitating genetic disorder that has been slowly killing him. His condition has worsened to the point where his doctors have given him 90 days to live, leaving behind his loving wife Johanne and two young children. It is a literal death sentence for him.

As Shane’s health continues to decline, the financial burden on his family has become overwhelming. Medical bills, treatment costs, and the day-to-day expenses of raising a family are quickly piling up. Shane has not been able to work and provide for his family for some time, and Johanne has had to take care of him and their two boys, which is a full-time job in and of itself. The family is now facing a dire financial crisis.

Shane reached out to me and told me that he was at peace with the fact that he will die, but he is exceptionally concerned for Johanne and his boys. He asked if I could please put together this GoFundMe for him. Your donations will help alleviate the financial strain on Shane’s family, allowing them to focus on spending these last moments of his life together, hopefully creating some positive memories, and will ultimately help Johanne and the children after Shane passes. Your contribution, no matter how big or small, will make a difference in alleviating the financial stress that this family is facing.

If you were dying and it was your family, I’m sure you would be praying for people to come to your family’s aid. If you were too weak to do anything yourself and your family was simply devastated, you would want people to be your angels and do whatever they could.
