Hi, my name is Julie and I am the Chairlady of the Royal British Legion Worcester Park Social Club. The Club is a business and doesn’t form part of the RBL Charity. We get minimal help from the RBL and therefore need yours.

I am trying to save our club from closing. We are in urgent need of heating ready for the winter as we cannot survive another year without it and may be forced to close. If this is something which is valuable to you please donate.

We have over 500 members with 70% + being Senior Citizens in and around the local community. We hold bingo nights, a dance club, live entertainment, tea afternoons amongst other things and our club is the lifeline to some of our members often being the only interaction they have with others all week. We also have a lot of facilities for younger members.

We also host RBL Branch at our club who hold events for Armed Forces Day and Remembrance Weekend. We parade down Worcester Park High Street with the local Armed Cadets as well as the Chelsea Pensioners.
