The Smith Runa VFW Post 3207 in Prosser, WA is in danger of having to close its doors permanently due to lack of funding and we need your help to save our post.  I am both a member and trustee of the VFW and am desperate to help those who have and continue to serve our country. The Prosser VFW is home to many local veterans. We also extend benefits to sick veterans & assist displaced and homeless veterans.  Not only do we assist veterans but we also give back to our community. We provide holiday baskets to those in need, bicycles to children who may otherwise not have one and host community events for all to enjoy. We attend parades & funerals throughout the lower valley, Tri-Cities and the Yakima area.


 The Honor Guard also operates from Post 3207.  The Honor Guard members attend funeral services without ever asking for or expecting anything in return; not even reimbursement for their travel.  The VFW, AmVets and Women’s Auxiliary prepare and serve holiday meals to veterans, give them a place to find comfort and support from fellow veterans and a place where they truly belong.
