I’m creating this GoFundMe for an amazing family that recently moved to Franklin from Philadelphia. They brought something new and exciting to our community—Philly Water Ice—hoping to make a difference and share a piece of their culture with us.

Their dream was to give Franklin something special, and they’ve done just that. Their water ice is incredible, and their kindness, love, and dedication to our community show in everything they do. They’ve always been supportive, welcoming, and uplifting to everyone they meet.

But unfortunately, the city denied them zoning approval, and they’re now being pushed out. They’ve faced challenges that no one should have to face—including being called racial slurs by the health department—and they’ve tried everything possible to keep their vision alive. What they need now is support from the people they’ve shown up for time and time again.

We’re raising money to help them purchase a food truck, so they can continue sharing Philly Water Ice with us and keep their dream alive in a way that bypasses the zoning issues. A food truck would give them freedom, mobility, and the chance to continue doing what they do best—serving the community with love and flavor.

Let’s show them we care. Let’s come together for the ones who came here for us.
