My mom is Pat Gisler. She was a neonatal ICU nurse at CHLA for 45 years. I'm her daughter, and growing up, all my mom did was work—the hardest working person I know. Now she is 82, retired, and having some trouble financially. She got behind in her house payments. I help as much as I can. We live together as I take care of her, and recently I learned that she's behind in her mortgage. Right now, if I can get the money together, fixing this problem is doable. However, I don't want it to get so out of control that I can't help her fix this. My mom has always been so helpful and generous when she was working. Now she's on a tight budget and needs some help. I have some money saved that I will put towards this issue, but the bank won't take money until it's closer to what she owes. Being behind, with the bank's fees, it's close to $18,000. Any donation would help and be much appreciated! I'm trying everything, hate to even do this, but I feel like I have no choice. I can't let my mom lose her house; she's worked so hard for this to happen. Please help!
